The Hockey Section has over 300 members who are registered with the Hong Kong Hockey Association. From this membership the Section fields a total of 15 teams, including eight Men's teams and seven Ladies' teams which compete in the Hong Kong League system and a number of knock-out cup competitions. These include the Holland Cup for our Division One and Two Men's teams: A, B, C, and D; the HKHA Cup for Men's teams E, F, G and H from Divisions Three, Four and Five; and the Gremlins Cup competed for by our Ladies A, B and C teams, from Divisions One and Two.

As one of the top clubs in Hong Kong Hockey, Hong Kong Football Club has been, and continues to be, one of the most successful in these competitions, often crowned Champions and Cup winners.

The stature of Hockey within the Club is also evidenced by the international tournaments and matches it hosts. The HKFC Easter Mixed Nines is now an international standard annual tournament which attracts teams from around the world, and the Club is host to the Pac Rim International Veterans tournament. In addition, many top international teams from leading Hockey nations have trained and played at the Club, including Australia, Great Britain, Holland and Korea. Likewise our own sides tour frequently across Asia and the world, and every year they compete in tournaments in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.

In addition to the serious competitive sporting activities of the Section, there is a very active social scene with regular parties, dinners and a formal End-of-Season Ball.

Allied to the Section there is a very active Mini Hockey group which attracts Members' and non-Members' children to learn the game of hockey from as young as six years old.
